Description: The “Safe Havens for Families” project is aimed at constructing and equipping underground bomb shelters in key residential areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, providing civilians with safe spaces during ongoing conflict. These shelters will be strategically placed near schools, hospitals, and densely populated residential areas.

- Site selection and surveying
- Construction of underground shelters
- Installation of ventilation, water supply, and sanitation systems
- Provision of emergency supplies (food, water, medical kits)
- Training for local residents on emergency protocols
Implementation Stages:
- Assessment and Planning (2 months): Survey and select locations, design shelters.
- Construction (6 months): Build and equip shelters.
- Community Training and Supply Stocking (2 months): Train residents, stock shelters.
- Final Review and Handover (1 month): Inspect and hand over shelters to local authorities.
Approximate Cost: $8 million
Number of Beneficiaries: 50,000 people
