Five Months of Dedicated Work: IRCF and 37 Ukrainian Communities

Over the past five months, the Infrastructure Restoration Charitable Foundation (IRCF), together with representatives of 37 communities across 7 regions of Ukraine, has completed an extensive and highly detailed package of analytical documents describing urgent humanitarian and social-infrastructure needs. This work marks a significant milestone in our long-term commitment to supporting Ukrainian communities affected by the ongoing consequences of war.

A Collaborative Effort Across Two Countries

The project required continuous cooperation between IRCF’s core team in the United Kingdom and IRCF’s representatives, coordinators and volunteers working on the ground in Ukraine. Every participating community contributed essential data, sectoral information, and operational insights. Together, we built a unified and structured presentation of needs covering:

  • Humanitarian assistance requirements

  • Social infrastructure restoration priorities

  • Community-level demographic and vulnerability profiles

  • Detailed implementation roadmaps

  • Supporting documentation verified and approved by local authorities

This monumental work ensures that each community’s request is clearly articulated, evidence-based, and aligned with international standards for humanitarian and development planning.

Five Months of Intensive Preparation

Compiling this package required thousands of hours of coordination, field communication, document verification, translation, data analysis, and quality control. The IRCF team worked tirelessly to maintain precision, consistency, and integrity across all community profiles—more than 600 slides of structured, community-validated information.

Our volunteers and local representatives accomplished what many considered impossible within such a short time frame. Their professionalism, dedication, and resilience have made this achievement possible.

Message of Appreciation from the Board of Trustees

On behalf of the Board of Trustees of IRCF UK, and as Chairman of the Board, I extend sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to this complex and labor-intensive process.

Your commitment has demonstrated the power of collaboration between communities, civil society leaders, and the international humanitarian sector. This project not only documents needs—it strengthens trust, reinforces transparency, and establishes a solid foundation for future partnerships with charitable organisations, institutions, and private-sector partners in the United Kingdom and around the world.

A Foundation for the Future

The completed package of documents serves as a strategic instrument for mobilising humanitarian aid, attracting funding, and implementing social-infrastructure projects that will benefit hundreds of thousands of people across Ukraine. It is the first step in a long journey of rebuilding resilience, restoring essential services, and supporting communities as they work toward recovery and long-term stability.

We are proud of every member of our team—both in Ukraine and the United Kingdom—who contributed expertise, time, and energy to this initiative. Together, we have built a framework that will guide meaningful, transparent, and impactful support for the communities we serve.
